YK Dinner is an annual event organised by Yayasan Khazanah (YK), for YK Board of Trustees and current scholars and its Alumni to socialize/network and update on achievements as well as welcoming the new scholars into “YK Family”.
This function is held to also inspire and motivate scholars in their journey as YK scholars. At the event, YK scholars will get the chance to meet members of the YK Board of Trustees, including its chairman, Dato’ Sri Mustapa bin Mohamed, as well as to mingle and network with their YK peers. YK scholars will also benefit from a knowledge and experience sharing session by YK alumni members.
This year was extra special because YK celebrated its 10th year anniversary with the launch of our maiden Coffee Table Book that showcases our achievements over the last decade. The book was launched and the dinner was graced by YAB Dato’Sri Najib Tun Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia. The dinner was attended by 569 attendees, amongst others, all our Board of Trustees, current and past YK scholars, as well representatives from various invited organisations. We have also invited 20 orphans from Pertubuhan Nur Kasih Bestari (aged 13 and above) to join us for the dinner.
